The Two Stroke Boost EQ is a 'clean boost’ pedal for the modern age! It combines an active dual-parametric EQ and up to 12dB of output boost; able to fine tune your overall sound, or push your amp’s front end. The pedal can be used to add that boost to take your solo to 11, angering your soundman in the process, while the EQ can be used to master your overall tone profile when engaged. The Two Stroke in essence can add an extra channel to your amplifier or re-voice and re-shape your guitar’s pickups completely, which can be very helpful for multi-guitar sets and sessions. Crank the high mids to jump through the mix, cut the low end to remove the woolliness that normally occurs with traditional boost pedals, or leave the EQ flat to hear more of what you already like.
The pedal also features a charge pump circuit (which doubles the internal voltage and massively increases the headroom). The EQ section also works well on acoustic guitars and bass, which can help pull out that odd, hum-inducing frequency at a gig. 12 more dBs, dual-parametric active EQ, buffered bypass, and plenty of headroom all add up to make the ultimate boost.
